Here are 5 things you can do today for a better real estate business tomorrow;

  1. Start your day by reading a minimum of 15-20 minutes from a positive book or business book that teaches some technique you are looking to learn. And, if so inclined, pray/meditatefor another 10-12 minutes. Start your day strong.
  2. Review the base contract (or if you have mastered that, commonly used addendums and amendments.) Knowing your contract inside and out leads to stronger negotiations.
  3. Preview two houses that are new on the market…or two that are about a week from six months on the market. Knowing your market and the available inventory leads to more “top-of-mind” conversations when talking to prospects.
  4. Contact, in some form or fashion, 5 people that are in (or should be in) your database. I don’t care if you call, private message through Facebook/Instagram/etc, hand write a card…whatever. Just 5. You can handle that.
  5. Introduce yourself to 5 people you don’t know. Maybe the new agent in your office. Or the person behind you in the grocery line. Or that guy that keeps hanging around your wife. Anybody! And if the conversation goes good, add them to your database.

What if you did this everyday of the work week every week of the year? Would your business be doing better? Now, before you tell me, “Chris, this is so easy…” Well, when is the last time you did all 5 everyday of the work week?
